Bitterroot Morning

I’ve been told that every once in a while it would be fine to simply post an image. Some of the subtlety of the original 24-inch square canvas is lost here, but of the pieces I’ve done meant simply to hang on a wall, this was my favorite. Strange and a little sad, but because of moves and mistakes, I have no idea who owns it, or where (or even if) it’s hanging today.

This just gets better…

If I owned it, it would be hanging on my wall. So, I would imagine the party that has it, has it hanging as well.

I just found your post. Wonderful creations!!! Meanwhile, it’s taking f o r e v e r to come in on my dial-up connection. Any chance you could make the photos smaller for those of us in the slow lane? If not, I’ll just have another coffee while thing come in.

That light is fantastic. It’s the kind of angle of sun that makes you stop whatever you are doing and just look. Beautiful, and you captured it so well.

Just started reading, Mr. Buell. Inspiring stuff.
I’ve been trying to imagine ways to harness the power of the internet to locate the original. No brainstorms yet.

Things like that make me want to ask… Should I ask? If you make an FAQ, it would be good to put this question in it. I’m assuming that as YOU put it, this is “Shameless self promotion.” So, I should go on and ask. Do you have things like this painting for sale? Do you do contract work? What kind of pricing are we looking at?

I am a fan of that sun angle and use it in a lot of my photos, some of the fall ones are up now if you click on my name. Do you have objection if we make a print off this for personal use?? And I too cast a vote for an Olduvi George store.

Oh, what a beautiful painting! It just takes my breath away. Do I have to leave it now, and go away? Or can I stay here and gaze, gaze, gaze, and dream?
I sure hope you find out who has it. I’m sure, though, they they appreciate as much as anyone else looking at your pages. Thank you for sharing it with us.
And yes, I, too, vote for a Olduvi George store. I would love to own an original.
Thank you again, for sharing your wonderful talents with us.

What a beautiful site, so many wonderful pictures. I live in the city and to gaze upon this makes me feel a whole lot happier. Soon we will be selling and hope to move to such a place of tranquilty.
Brilliant work.
